Casio Royale is one of my favorite Casios. Functionality and versatility on the wrist for less than $50, sometimes less than $30 even. Also, it is one of the most comfortable watches out there.

Wholeheartedly agree. It was my 1st watch with bracelet for my left hand (my A168 is on my right due to the light button) and I'm kinda surprised on how the watch actually feels very comfortable (and very pleasing to look at of course) despite the price tag.

You know, sometimes I’ve thought about making a mod to the watch, but the mod parts itself will set me back $100+ dollars and it makes me think it defeats the purpose or true nature of the watch…. But I’ve been really curious about making that happen.

It’s possible that the Casio AE 1200 is the perfect pilot watch. I’ve worn it on many flights, and though my romantic mind prefers the LORIER Hyperion, this darn $25 Casio is just fantastic. Waiting for my Vario leather strap. Should be here in a couple of days to upgrade this to a dressier look. It really has cool quality of technology and old-school leather to give it a Star Wars bar in Tatoin feel😎#vario

I'm with you there ahahaha. I thought of getting the skxmod version to have an excuse to wear it on dressy/formal occasions, but the price kind of prevents me from actually buying it

The watch match the cockpit's instrument (which is very cool 👍). If i may ask, how long have you been using it for flights?? My neighbor works in airlines and do a lot of cross country flights and I'm thinking of getting them this watch as a gift 🤔

I’ve had the watch a little over a year. I guess I’m just a slow beginner. But I am intrigued by this timepiece. It is so inexpensive and so phenomenally, capable, legible and useful. And above all of that, it looks just absolutely freaking great!

Don’t even hesitate… It’s a fantastic gift. And then you can add the most incredible watchband to it made by Vario. it is leather and specifically made for this watch. It’s just a look you won’t see anywhere else and it is dynamite.

Absolutely. Since I have the gold AE 1200 I ordered a black buckle instead of the silver one. The folks at VARIO added it to my strap and shipped it already assembled. As it only comes with a silver buckle and tang. They were absolutely awesome! Best customer service ever.

Maybe someday, whenever I drop my guard I’d be looking to compensate my emotional discomfort with a monetary discomfort, I’d actually pull the trigger. 😂
