Here is it, attached in this post, some images of the watch I’ve modded myself:
1st watch is the Black sakura dialed watch modded for my brother in law. As he is going to be married in Jan 2024, I’ve decided to mod a watch for him. Similar to myself, he love green color and what is better to give him a stealthy everyday watch with green second accent? Love the quality of parts from Namoki (most of these modded watch parts are from Namoki), especially the matte black of the 36mm explorer homage case.
The second, third and fourth watch I made as a christmas gift for myself and my siblings. I wanted to have a matching everyday watch with 2 of my brothers, so I dedided to use the 36mm explorer homage case by Namoki aswell, but had the dial custom made by a watch modder based in sydney (ig : @koda_watches). The dial is inspired by nomos because my older bro who got me into watches really like nomos😁. Also as mentioned, I like green so my watch is the middle one (middle child here), my older bro loves blue/navy so I got him a blue handset, and my younger bro love black and white, so got him a white handset.
In addition, got the watch engraved with a verse that has been strengthening us all as my older bro is fighting cancer right now. And of course, our name engraves on the clasp.
Love how everything turned out! If you ever think for a little that modding a watch might be fun, go and do it! Learning the how to from youtube, actually building and looking at the result which made you smile is very rewarding. Especially if you can gift it to the people nearest to you.
Anyway, its been a really long post, but I still have one more watch that was a concept by me and a friend of mine, didn’t know how it’ll turn out until it did, and I’m very happy about it✌🏼
