Thanks! I got the last one at Japan Select. Sakura had a bit better price, but already OOS. Customs got me for $70. Win some, lose some.
These Alpinist GMT's were a solid win for Seiko. I have the silver dialed SPB409 and it's easily at the top of my collection👌

Yeah, I was looking at Japan Select and Ippo, but holding out hope for a Sakura restock. Luckily, nothing I have ordered from them or Ippo has got hit with duties.

I was so happy to see them come. I have to have a GMT to track UTC on cloud infrastructure, and the Alpinist is dead sexy IMO.

That strap is hard as jerky, but after really wearing it out with some hairpin squeezes and turning it around, I rather like it now.

No use for a GMT & the compass bezel is a naff gimmick- Really really want one, they're gorgeous 😍👏🏻👏🏻

They come in handy if you travel, work in IT, wfh with HQ in a diff time zone, etc.
