Advice on Seiko 5 SNKL23 crystal replacement method

I'm new to modding and will be self-modding my Seiko 5 SNKL23 with a double domed sapphire. Do you know if it's possible to replace the crystal by popping off the bezel, instead of having to do it the traditional way of unscrewing the case back and taking out the movement?

I feel confident doing it the traditional way and taking out the movement if best, but I feel it would be less riskier if I can replace the crystal by taking off the bezel and not have to touch the movement.

I've seen two videos of crystals being replaced through the bezel for the Seiko 5 SNXS, and one video of the SARB035 being done in the same way. However, I'm not sure if this is only possible with certain models and maybe not possible with the SNKL23. Links to these videos below, for your reference:

Think I'll do the same to my SNKL43 once its crystal get a little more scratched up. So what's the SNKL crystal diameter?

I like the way the watch looks with the bonklip. I have both this watch and the bracelet, I will have to try it out.

I believe the crystal diameter is 30mm. This is the crystal that I bought https://usa.crystaltimes.net/shop/products/ct063/

Yea I agree, being able to pop off the bezel seems to be the less invasive route. Though, I'm just not sure if the SNKL23 was meant to have its bezel popped off.

Yea I was kinda surprised how well it worked. I bought the bonklip for another watch, but the fitting didn't feel so comfortable with the weight of that watch's head, and I stopped wearing it. Then the other day I tried it on the SNKL23, and I liked it! I'm on a bit of bonklip kick. I put a different bonklip bracelet on my Sarb035 too!
