Watch recommendation

Hello there👋🏼 I’m new to crunch and new to watch collecting. I’m looking for some recommendations for the third watch in my collection.
I want a nice automatic watch, something cheap in price (up to 400€) but not in quality.

What are your other two watches, and do you have a collection theme in mind (such as all divers, or one of everything, etc)?

·

Probably the most bang for your buck on automatics is going to be the Orient line. There are also some Seikos that fit into that price range, but unfortunately, the number of them is shrinking. You can get good Swiss quartz for that price, like a Tissot PRX quartz, but the automatics will cost you above that price range.

Great bang for buck can be found with Glycine.  Check out some of their pieces here:

Some orient or some citizen could fit your needs. But as @cornfedksboy said: depending on your two other watches, suggestions might differ.

As others have said it depends a lot on what you have and what you like. I’ve got 3 options for 3 different types:

Diver Orient Kamasu

My first automatic diver and the watch that started my love for them.

Field Watch Hamilton Khaki Field

I’ve got another Hamilton Khaki it’s one of my keepers and I haven’t heard much bad things said about it.

Dress Orient Bambino

Never had one myself no really a dress watch guy but it’s everyone’s go to recommendation.

Hope that helps. You should be able to find them all under 400 first hand. Good luck.

I have the Seiko snxs79 and the Tissot Gentleman, I haven’t even thought about a theme that’s a nice idea thank you:)

The PRX is really nice I thought about getting that one or the gentleman and decided the gentleman as my second watch. I’ll watch out for some orient watches thank you.

Two great everyday sports watches!  If you want to continue along that theme, a Hamilton khaki is a classic three hander +/- date. If you want a little more diversity, a diver from Japan is a good place to look.

I think I’ll go for the Hamilton, kinda felt in love whit the look of the dial.
The fourth watch will be a diver for some diversity.
Thank you
