Have you ever came across a feature on a watch that made you think why don’t all watches have it?

I got myself a Tudor Pelagos a couple days ago now and one thing that has really impressed me and made me think why don’t all watches have this or something similar it’s a great idea.

I’m talking about the self adjusting spring mechanism setting on the clasp.

A long with the T slide system I know a lot of watches have a similar thing to that which is cool. But as you can see I like to wear my watch tight but having it on the spring setting it keeps it tight but if I heat up and expand it automatically adjust keeping tight but not to tight with is a great makes it super comfortable to wear because I normally wear my watches right on my line of being to tight as I can’t stand any movement on my wrist if a watch moves it really irritates me ha

Similarly, better bracelet adjustability. I also like a bracelet to be just right, with little margin for error, plus my wrist expands and contracts a lot. So tool-less micro adjust is pretty much a necessity for a daily wear.

Quick release straps or drilled lugs…come on people!!!

Rolex set the standard in bracelets about a decade ago. Other brands are starting to catch on, at least on some models.

Grand Seiko is not interested in wrist comfort.

I know Rolex do glide lock what is cool similar to the Tlock on Tudor but I’m more on about the the spring part how it automatically adjusts I’ve not heard of that on anything else before

Yeah drilled lugs yes I do wish my Tudor had them it came with rubber straps as well but the spring bars are hard to get out so I just leave it on the bracelet

That spring is designed for wet suit compression. Maybe they can further refine it.
