Picture this it's my birthday and my girlfriend has just given me a Star Wars themed Citizen Ecodrive Chronograph.
Girlfriend: "You might not like it."
Me: "Of course I like it. I love watches and I love Star Wars. Plus it's an Ecodrive and I don't have one of those."
Girlfriend: "You are just saying that. It's not an Omega or a Rolex."
Me: "Do you know why I wear watches? It's not to impress strangers, customers, coworkers, family members, or friends. I wear what brings a smile to my face. Nothing more complex than that. I wear it for me, not for them."

One of my commercial neighbours is a store that sells spray paints for grafitti artists as well as collectibles and art etcetera. One of the owners has become interested in watches knows of my hobby: one weekend when they were taking part in a convention, sales he texted me images of Citizen Marvel Heros line of watches in case I was interested? He also introduced me to his grey market watch seller who assisted in sourcing some birth year Rolex watches. You can be curious about Citizen themed watches as well as Rolex, neither are better or worse.

I bought four of the designs when they first launched the SW Citizen Ecodrive series. Eventually I sold off the Luke and Solo ones. (I lean towards the bad guys LOL). They are fun to wear especially to SW themed events
