First place, the Ginualt Ocean Rover. A perfect Sub homage to not a single reference but many. A 5-digit case, 6-digit maxi dial and indices, 4-digit sword hands, a dash of Yacht-master for a second hand, three link oyster bracelet and a glidelock clasp. Oh, and the movement? Running in superlative chronometer standard. It’s the reason a real Sub is off my grail list for good.
Close second, the Steinhart Ocean 39 GMT Premium 500. Batman looks without the applied indices, the Mercedes hands, or cyclops, or the Rolex GMT Master II price tag. And running within superlative chronometer standard as well.
Third place, the Smiths Everest. As close to a 1016 Explorer as I’ll ever get, and almost as hard to get!
Fun fact, the Invicta Pro Diver 1953 is a pretty good homage of a modern BB58 as well!
Those pictures are awesome! The colorway with that strap is on point 💥 I wish they could make these color schemes on an oyster bracelet. I've tried liking to wear nato straps. It feels like it's downgraded the wear, feel and look of the watch. That's for the edumacation brother lol 😂 Cheers mate 🍻👊🏽

The Loreo Ghost Dive watch aka Submariner 5 digit. The closest watch I've seen and researched that emulates the Rolex Submariner 16800.
The Invicta Pro Diver 1953 hands down the BEST homage watch to the original Rolex Submariner No Date in the 1950s.
The ones I build myself!
