Casio madness
I was wondering if anyone here has an opinion about the Casio MTG line of watches? They do seem nice but a bit pricey, are they worth it? I am thinking about getting one but I am sure there's an automatic watch out there that would be a better buy???

Darn. I was going to recommend the new frogman mr-g. So sexy but that's $4k+. Certified diver.
Could buy 40th anniversary g-shock square. Those look sexy too.

If you really like a quartz diver go for it Casio makes great and reliable watches. But if you're a true automatic watch lover there are plenty of automatic dive watches for around $1000. Good luck with your find. 👊🏽

Seiko absolutely has great dive watches within that price point. Maybe even less...Seiko's a test and proven reliable watch and has longevity. With a lot of history behind their brand. If you want to hit or go a little bit over that price of $1000 you should check out Mido dive watches. Now that's also a great automatic watch in and around that price point. Hi, I have the MTG B2000 and I like this style of watch so for me they are worth it. Very light, super well made, reliable and good looking. I also like the older models G1000, you can find them still. Normally when you go to a jeweler they give you a nice discount so I would not buy full retail online. Great watches, you will not be dissappointed.

This G-Shock watch which I call the apocalypse monster was gifted to me. I wish I could wear it as a daily beater. But I just can't ... Not to be a quartz snob I just love mechanical and automatic watches. However, when I perform a stunt role as a law enforcement or military character on set I ROCK this BADD BOY HARD!!! 💪🏽😎👊🏽
