Swatch watches
Wondering what are your thoughts on Swatch as a brand and their watches?
To me they might not be the best but they make the watch world a fun place with what they bring to the table, not everything has to be Rolex, AP or Patek

Started my mechanical watch "journey" with Swatch, never going back.
After the Moonswatch fiasco they're on my burn in hell list. The irony auto's are ok, but hate their marketing department.
I don't really like fun and playful watches, but Swatch are pretty cool if you know what you're getting. The Irony is alright, making up for their (at least in my eyes) weak point of plastic construction. Just know that their RRP is ridiculous at times.
Swatchs are pretty cool and fun, but the name “secondary watch “ suggests that this brand is not a wear everyday day brand watch, mostly cause it scratches and get old faster than other brands. I have 3 swatches now and they are good watches for the price, but i try to not wear them everyday because they can break down. That is what i know from experience.
I have a couple from the 1980s that I don't wear anymore but a couple years ago I put in new batteries and they worked great after sitting in a drawer for 35 years.
I'd buy one of their automatics tomorrow if they were smaller (40mm or less)
