New to me

Finally picked up a Seiko 6139, dated Sept 73. It needs some work done but hopefully not to much, looking forward to getting this back in a month or two.

Congratulations. That bezel looks to be in really good condition especially for the age.

Thanks, it’s in better condition than I was expecting but it does have a bit of a dink at the bottom of the bezel. All in it look’s pretty original from what I can tell.

That's one busy watch.

If it didn’t have character marks you start questioning if it authentic. Needs a perforated rubber rallye strap.

It looks less busy once it’s on to be honest, can’t explain why though 🤷

That is true

This is one of the only chronographs I would ever buy

Compared to most chronographs this is very simple and the main reason I like them.

I’m not normally a chronograph guy but I’ve had an itch for one of these for quite a while now. I toyed with getting a gold dial one but decided blue was the way to go.

Definitely, I don't like the pogue colour way.

I don’t mind the yellow/gold but I think it would be hard to find one in good condition for a fair price
