New blacked out Tissot driver

Was definitely not looking for this but was attracted to the clean black dial and I liked the caseback with the steering wheel design built in.

Just a fun simple Tissot, getting it immediately onto a tropic rubber strap as it’s far too warm for leather just now.

Yeah the splash of colour is always great on a plain black dial.

I've been warming to this brand, but don't always like how their signature "T" hand plays with the other elements. It works really well here, though, almost like a dashboard gauge needle. Cool pickup!

Thanks mate. I think the simplicity of the dial helps here, Tissot quite often have a lot going on, but the plain black dial helps highlight the second hand. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks the readability was one of the first things that attracted me.

Tissot is a brand I follow, but I've never seen this one. This is a sharp, high visibility watch. I only have one Tissot, the Everytime Large, but I like it so much I wrote a whole story about it on WatchCrunch. I'm glad you were able to get this one - guessing that not too many are out there. Does the bezel turn? Is that a friction bezel? I usually prefer a friction bezel because it will turn both ways and make it easier to time things.

Leather straps are my favorite, but they also don't work for me in warm weather. So it's rubber, nylon or a bracelet in the Summer.

I like Tissot as well, I’m considering the Sideral, just not sure if I’ll like it on so I’ve asked my local AD to let me know if they have it in stock. This isn’t a limited edition so I’m sure you can find it if you’re interested in it the ref. nr. is T131.430.36.052.00. It’s relatively new so it might be hard to track down. Unfortunately the bezel is fixed, which I think is a shame as it seems to be crying out for that. I prefer a nice clicking bezel honestly as I just find something satisfying about that. I really don’t use them to time anything though and just use them as a fidget spinner.
