Has Grand Seiko introduced a micro adjustment clasp??

I was looking at this video today @1:50 into the video he says the new micro adjust! Has this just slide in unannounced? Anyone got info on the because if true this could be a game changer for the brand and a serious distributor to others. I have been on the cust on many purchases but pulled back because of this.

Its just a standard clasp with micro adjustment holes I guess.

GS released the new white lion model with Astron style clasp with quick adjustment, which is similar to Glashutte Original. If they are going that direction, it would be great since its compact and has a seamless look plus doesn't add unnecessary bulk.

It doesn’t look like it’s a reference to micro holes, looks like it’s a push button slide affair

From the GS9 club review about the SBGJ273, says it has 4 micro adjustment hole and nothing about the smart adjustment clasp.

Much clearer in this video

GS does not have on-the-fly micro-adjust on their clasps - except for the divers extensions. And since nobody but weirdoes like me ever buys GS divers, that's irrelevant! Ha!

Otherwise, any and all micro-adjusts on GS, if offered, are simple holes in the clasp that require tool.

So what about the video I posted? Look different on their, think it’s incorrect?

Seems like a micro adjust clasp but old school. Not on the fly? I personally think that's worse than without 😬

I’m one of those GS diver weirdos 😜

I actually use the diver extension micro adjust several times a day as my wrist swells or shrinks or is sweaty. It takes a second or two to adjust while watch is on the wrist

Yeh I think your right, I wish they would just get it sorted.

Look at the 1st link. The left picture shows the 2nd hole of the 1st link is used. The right picture shows the 1st hole of the 1st link is used. Big deal. If #christopherward can put true micro adjustment on all of their bracelets starting at ~$1,200, then Grand Seiko should have no problem on watches at ~$10,000.

Just saw this and can confirm that GS and Seiko have on the fly hidden micro adjustable barcelets. They often do not mention this feature in the marketing or on their website. I have a Seiko Astron on order that incorporates a really nice one that is not much bigger than a normal GS clasp. It's crazy that Seiko believe that the wealthier collector doesn't have wrists that alter in size. It's mad and infuriating but I know they are intending to roll this out on the GS 20mm bracelets very soon.

This one HAS micro adjustment but no mention in the websites.....
