Farer moonphase drops 2 days earlier than expected!

Arrived home from work to this little beauty! I thought it would be next week before it was going to arrive. Initial view was, wow! The size is bang on and the dial is striking. The packaging is cool with a nice travel case. The strap is very nice although I think the keeper might be a little slacker than I would like. I was torn between several straps so I opted for the grey which was the one favoured in the press shots and I am delighted with in. I am a very happy boy tonight as is my son as he gets one of the watches on my ‘list to exit’ my collection.

What’s in the box?

Lovely with that massive moonphase. And I like the more minimal packaging trend. Just seems so obvious. Got some great packing on a recent oris purchase.

A lovely piece. Enjoy.

Me too, me too! As a rule I always order the bracelet option when available so I went with the Milanese, but I’ve already ordered some straps as well. It’s my first Farer and might not be the last! Perfect size, great details, and I’m very impressed by the quality overall.

I love it on the bracelet, going to order it tomorrow hahaha. I have to be careful because we have a big holiday coming and a Bel Canto and that is getting a bracelet and a strap as well and I’m getting a couple of straps made for my Pasha and I need to replace my air con on my Jensen Interceptor hahahaha oh dear!

Have you been onto the website to adjusted the moonphase yet? It’s very cool how they real time the position every day!

The moonphase complication is very new to me, therefore will need to follow the instructions from the manual. At the moment, I’ve set it to the full moon display to enjoy its beauty🤩 I’ve been after a one&done moonphase for a long while and couldn’t resist this latest release from the always fantastic Farer. Enjoy your beautiful watch! 🤙

Another Halley here - #73 for me (my birth year - was pretty nice to pick the number). And I had to add a cheesy engraving.

bur what a stunner of a watch. Absolutely incredible.

It’s very easy, there is no manual. Go to the Farer website then select the moonphase watch then scroll down to the bottom. It has a live graphic with the day and where the moon should be. Pull out the crown to position one and rotate until you match the graphic…simples 😁

Thanks for sharing photos, everyone. I really wanted the light blue version but dragged my feet, deciding if I wanted to purchase it or not and then deciding on a serial. Next thing you know, everything sold out. Today they restocked but did it in a way I didn't anticipate. They just sold whatever they got from the manufacturer, so, for example, about 45 pieces of midnight blue, 18 of salmon, and merely 10 of the light blue dial. Strangely, giving me the option to choose a serial number (when I never paid attention to the serials of any of my watches) actually introduced a sense of analysis paralysis in me. I think I settled on a high 100's number and was told it'd probably take a year to reach it!

Nice! Love those Farer moonphases. Had a nice conversation with Paul Sweetenham about them at Windup SF last week. They're really cool.
