Can you slide the buckle down to the end? Does that make it work?
It’s a ‘Tudor’ style one, but not entirely sure that buckle is on properly… more photos, ideally of the other end, might help.
It looks like you have slid the buckle up into where the watch should go… possibly.
First you need to feed the strap through the bottom (6) spring bar.
