Nope... It is essentially the two extra jewels. A couple of other parts are added/different (third wheel bridge, third wheel, escape wheel, etc) to accommodate the bridge/jewels.
There's little, if any, performance benefit as far as I can see although watches using the 7S36 tend to be more expensive than those using the 7S26.

Yes, the 36 has 2 more jewels than the 26.
There may also be size differences as @Ichibunz mentions, but that site does not mention those
