Vintage Junghans watch!

Today i was visiting my best friend and she showed me her granddads vintage Junghans automatic watch!

I don't know a lot about so if you know anything about it let me know!

Sadly it's not working anymore but maybe a watchmaker can fix it 🤷‍♂️

At the very least it's a beautiful vintage watch to look at :)

its actually a power reserve indicator, no date window :)

Very nice! At a guess, I'd say this is early 1950s, with the J80/12 calibre inside, the first watch in Germany to have a power reserve indicator (apparently the populace did not really trust automatic watches at that time, the reserve indicator was put in for reassurance).

I for one would definitely try to have it restored!
