When i had asked abt this watch at a cartier store i was told i can order it with unspecified delivery date. Understood it's not limited edition but only a few are made per month. So to my understanding not a catalogue model but not extremely rare either.

36 to 40mm on an 8inch wrist. Rarely i will wear up to 42mm but any watch over 40mm tends to spend a day or 2 on the wrist before being swapped for something smaller

I agree with you fully, i have 8" wrist and a 36mm Rolex is more than big enough for practically any wrist size, I wear them on NATOs as well.  

I would definitely do the swap if I were you. I had 3 repairs on my speedy, 2 under warranty 1 I paid for and stopped wearing the watch after that. The BB GMT although a great watch never hit the spot for me, it's a bit too big for my taste.

Green and gold but on the leather strap for me. Tones it down a tad and makes it more wearable.
