12 Hour Bezel

Question: how do you all feel about 12 hour  rotating bezels? I’m surprised they aren’t more common. I’m trying to decide if I want to mod my Citizen Promaster Diver with a 12 hour bezel insert. Any recommended online retailers?

I think 12 hour bezels are superior to GMTs most of the time, as they serve two purposes. I use the 12 hour bezel on my Navigator to track Zulu time, or as timer, depending on what I am doing at the time.

12 hour bezels enable non-GMT movements to operate as dual-time zone timers.  They can be extremely useful.

Exactly how I feel. Im so used to reading time on a 12 hour bezel I’d prefer to just adjust the bezel and have my dual time vs going back and forth between 12 and 24 hour. i get the downside if travelling international but for me thats not a big deal.

Totally agree. Easier to read than going back and forth 12 to 24 on the gmt.

I'm a big fan of the 12-hour bezel as well, and for the same GMT/dual-time-zone reasons. The only problem is that you still need to keep track of the AM/PM difference when tracking other time zones.
