Help me decide Willard or Tuna

Hi Guys,

Torn between two iconic Seikos the Willard SPB237J1 with it’s gorgeous subtle indices & textured grey dial & The Tuna professional 300m S23629J1 which is a real statement piece and beautiful 3D dial. Here are photos both on my 6 inch wrIst. I will be wearing these as fun recreational pieces. I have other watches which accommodate dressy and smart casual. Thanks

I like the tuna a bit more. The cushion case on the willard is a bit too sizable to me.

I'm not a "Seiko guy", so maybe ignore me...but man, the Tuna is just a huge lump of a watch.  I don't hate it, but it's not attractive.  The giant metal ring around the outside is the answer to a question nobody was asking.  So yeah, it's the other one for me.

Thought TUNA was strange until I saw it on someone else wrist. Mannn it looks good with bracelet 😲😲😲

The Willard is an iconic movie watch, but for me, that's really all it is.

The Tuna on the other hand has been really speaking to me lately.

I'm an all day, every day, Tuna over Willard kinda guy. And if you get one of the 43mm versions (as pictured here), the watches are very wearable. My wrist is 6.75" for reference. But they are top heavy watches, so they need to be worn on a robust strap or bracelet. A NATO will probably shift too much in normal wear (mine does).

Yes they are heavy I would put it on Strapcode Hexad

Both watches are part of the real Seiko history. I own the same Willard model with the very high quality straps and I love it. I have additionally bought a metal bracelet as the strap makes the watch even higher on the wrist. I am tempted by the Tuna but it is really a much bigger watch for me.

Get both

I'd go with the Willard for size reasons.  The Tuna is a huge watch that might look good, but won't be worn very often for comfort reasons.

btw I see two photos of Willards: 1 regular size, 1 jumbo.  Are my old eyes deceiving me?
