So many times I had them (San Martins, Cronos etc.) in my Cart and yet I never ordered them.

I think I’m having a problem with the lack of originality. And I made the experiment with a Pagani before and regretted it because it endet up in the watch box never worn again after one week.

It’s not so much what others think or if someone mistakenly thinks it’s the real deal (although this would be indeed a main issue for me).

Exactly my thoughts. Thanks for confirming. 👍

I had this exact Doxa on my list as well for quite some time. It’s not entirely my taste (very similar to the Mido) but the brands heritage and the quality of their watches keep bringing me back.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. Even if I wanted to spend that huge pile of money for a sub, it is nearly impossible to get one. So, that’s why I posted here for your help and the Doxa ist great alternative.

They are beautiful indeed but also look like plain copies tbh.

Well, a little over 2000 for a used Pelagos would definitely be something to consider for me. 🤔 Not sure if that’s realistic though and what condition the watch would be in if it dropped roughly 50% in price.

I figured from your profile name that you could be a fellow architect. So it does seem to be true that we all have the same taste. 🫠

I‘ll try to find one with sword hands. That would be indeed a big point to win me over.
