Just wondering what the WC community's thoughts are on this Timex reissue? I'm debating getting one because I remember them from my Jr. High days.

I'm not really interested in gold colored watches, but I think the design is bold and fun. The chunky dual indices are so SOLID.
The QC on Timex watches can vary, but overall the Q reissue/retro-inspired line has been really strong. Very few misses, and while the prices are high for the brand as a whole, they're low enough that they're a relatively easy risk.
This reminds me of Rado’s Diastar which I love. I believe that watch was the first use of sapphire crystal. I have a vintage example which I used to wear all the time and now needs servicing.
I'd like an OG, not a reissue.
I kinda wish they'd doubled down and gave it a matching gold bracelet.
Interesting...that's a chonky boy though, unless the pictures are misleading.
Well, it's a Rado Diastar homage. But it's ok. Every great watch deserves a great affordable alternative.
I think it's fantastic. There's also a 1972 World Time reissue which I only found out about this week too.
Looks like a battle-axe
