I agree, if you shift the watch it may sit better, but wrist shapes are tough. Does not matter the type of strap, bracelet, etc I wear, my watches naturally shift towards the 12 marker. Does your watch (nice Tudor BTW) sit that way on other types of straps?
The same happens to me, be it with a 43mm L2L or a 47mm L2L. I guess it's just a shape and slender wrist problem. But it's minor enough that I don't mind it, as long as I stick to <47mm L2L.
think its mostly case design and lug-to-lug. tudor make flat cases which makes u have "empty space" if it covers whole wrist surface. Do you have this space on bracelet?

I think there always is some space there, but more so on NATO.

a little bit, but not much. I can live with this and enjoy the watch :)
If you want to know how the watch would wear on a much bigger wrist you can put the watch to the bottom of your wrist and twist the hand so the palm faces you. That motion makes (at least for me) the wrist wider and very flat. Like so
That said, I think in order to have that amount kf flat surface on the top of your wrist you'd need some seriously massive quarterback-like hands.
It's the shape of your wrist, NATOs in general tend to add heft/height to a watch I find. Ive started to cut the extra keeper off to make it a single pass nato to mitigate unwanted bulk.

Tuck the tail back in and you’re good. No need to dwell on it 🤣
Exactly, thank you.
I like the look of NATO but I was always wondering how it looks on bigger wristers.

I've been curious about this. Is it cooler to tuck the tail back, or is there a reason behind it?
I'm 90% NATO's & it's pretty normal, especially on something as flat as the Tudor.
Exactly, thank you.

Depends on the shape of the watch. Some are flatter than others.
'Generally' everyone gets this look with a nato; can be alleviated somewhat by single pass natos.

It is quite normal. Maybe the shape of your wrist is not so flat, hence a bit more gap.
