Vintage Seiko 7548-700B Pepsi Service Update
Service has gone well and will let the movement run overnight before finishing off the calendar works and fitting the dial and hands before recasing.
The lume rot on the hands was actually worse than I first thought but with a bit of sympathetic light scrapping got them to an acceptable condition to reuse.
The Watch has never been serviced and the gaskets were toast.
The only other issue is the case tube threads which are a bit stripped due to the crown gasket turning into a sticky mess which caused the crown setting hard to set and turn. These crowns will lock down on average after 3 finger rolls but this one is only after 1 finger roll I have another good case that I can change over if needed.
