Best divers watch under or around £2,500?

I’m thinking of investing in my first dive watch for my 18th that will stand the test of time. My budget is around £2,500. Any tips?

I suggest the Christopher Ward C60, or C65 Aquitaine.

You'll get finishing that equals anything in the price range, but have money left over for other things.

Being a UK based company, you'll also get fast shipping, and easy warranty work if the need ever arises.

Another vote for Christopher Ward. You may be able to get into a used Seamaster In that range as well.

There are so, so many great options, many at well under the price quoted. Can you give any indication of the style / size you like as there is such a huge range? Are you interested in big name brands, or would you be happy to consider microbrands?

Here's two I'd recommend (pics from respective sites), the first is way under budget (some great alternative colour options are sold out but may come back), the second is upper end of budget:

Good luck with your hunt.

Preferably I’d like a watch that is on the cusp of being durable and elegant so I can also wear it on special occasion. Ideally the watch should be 40mm to 43mm

Does anyone have any experience or opinions about the Longines Legend Diver?

I'd consider a Tudor Black Bay (with or without bezel), which is a couple of hundred more, or a Rado Captain Cook for a few hundred less.

I looked at the BB and it was a bit small for my wrist. Are there any watches like the BB but larger?

Gorgeous in person, but pretty long lug to lug, so you should definitely try it on.

Longines LD is a fantastic choice. Can be dressed up or down easily with straps. But everyone above has also make excellent suggestions from Oris and Sinn. Just up to your personal taste.
