Serica 5303

Having tried several aftermarket strap options for my Serica 5303, I'm going back to the OEM option on the fine mesh bracelet with fitted end links. All be it the bracelet clasp and crown are fiddly to operate, there's a lot for me to like that keeps this as one of the most visually interesting and enjoyable to have on wrist.

Have to say, I really dig the end link fitment to the case....the watch is pretty cool, too. I'm going to have to look at these closer, yours looks incredible

I took mine to Ecuador. I didn’t think the bracelet fit for this trip, mostly because I was going to be rucking about in the rain and mud. Also, Quito is known for petty theft, so I thought a strap would be less flashy/attractive. So I popped on my Weiss Watch Corduva strap, which was a perfect fit for this adventure.

However, I agree. The 5303 is best on that original bracelet!

Thanks. Yeah, it's not the same design or mechanism, but, that end link kind of reminds me of the Tudor P01. A marmite watch, for sure. But, there is a cool factor I can't deny which made me like it more later. Not for me as it's a pretty large and wide lug 2 lug. But, I get some that technical cool look here in a much more wearable size and originam package.

Good choice for your trip. This watch can look great on so many aftermarket straps. But, the complete original look with that mesh is THE design which drew me in yo get one, amongst other things.

Cool shots. I really like that bezel on the watch - unique and cool and has utility. I like those mesh bracelets too. I wonder if they'll do a model with brushed metal?
