IMHO, a perfect size (for a Tuna) and watch and strap pairing

My Seiko Prospex SBDY075 Safari Green Tuna on an Erika's Original MN strap in 2-tone Original. I was a perfect match when paired with my Green Willard SBDC111, and I think it's the same deal here. Love these 43mm Tunas which wear so great and comfortable on the wrist.

I generally gravitate towards the more subdued military greens myself. And, yes, I almost forgot about this one. I actually had the blue version of this watch before. I decided to sell my Green Willard and was thinking of what other Seiko diver had similar colors.. and, this popped back into my mind and so I got it.

Yeah just wish more brands done them. Honestly can think of avenger, Willard, SO 44 special edition and this but that’s it. Any others to add? The green Willard is lovely but these auto tunas are cool af🔥

Well, in another earlier watch collecting life when I was into other kinds of watches, I owned several Vostok Europe watches. They were generally larger case sizes than what I normally wear now, but, I really liked the Ekranoplan Caspian Sea Monster and the unusual Energia with slide rule bezel both had a military green tones.

They are not Russian, but, I think eastern European brand of some sort.. Ukraine or Lithuania?

Not sure what kind of movements were inside? But, I do recall they have the most annoying date changing procedure which required you to turn the crown forwards and backwards between midnight by a couple of hours to advance the date. And, I don't believe there was any hacking seconds either.

It looks good on that bracelet. I would, too, but, I had bought an Endmill from StrapCode a while back (for the other 43mm Tunas I had owned).

·

Oh yes. That’s a perfect combo 💚💚💚

·

Perfect combo. I always look at the Tuna and think it would just be too big, but then I see posts like this and the proportions for a 43mm watch are spot on!

It really wears smaller than 43mm.. looks more like a 41.. maybe even 40mm on wrist. Lug hole to lug hole is only like 40mm, too

Thanks for the info. Think I may have to actually try one on! 🤔

Yeah.. if u ever get one in the metal, I honestly believe you will not believe how unlike a 43mm watch you've ever seen. Might even double take and wonder if you have the even smaller solar quartz version that's shy of 39mm.
