New.Watch.Arrival Sinn Bundeswehr blacked out

What's the acronym? N.W.A? Some shots of my new Sinn 155 S Revolution II Bright Star that arrived today.. well, yesterday by the time I post this.

I bought it directly from Revolution. I figure it's their limited edition baby and they should have in stock and ready to ship. Versus WatchBuys where I'd likely have to wait between June-October for delivery. Yeah... I didn't feel like waiting and it arrived basically in about 2 days of placing order.. Otherwise, WatchBuys is where I usually go for (almost) all my Sinns.

Here are a quick wrist shots with some along side my U50 S BS. Sinns are generally cool on their own. But, I think they look particularly bad ass when all black in case and bracelet/strap together.

Always wanted a good Bundeswehr pilot chronograph in some form. Had a pretty nice one from HKED a while back.. I'm glad Sinn made a new and different batch of Bundeswehr watches recently. I was just waiting for the right moment to go ahead with getting one. I'm digging it in all black. It actually wears pretty good on my 7" wrist with its stated dimensions. But, I think all black helps reduce the visual weight even more.

The included black leather bund strap is pretty supple and seems to be comfortable and looks right with the watch. However, I don't care for the included NATO-style strap. I never like that particular style with the large ring hardware and it just doesn't wrap around and look good. And, I don't like the hardware is silver and doesn't match the case finish. It actually looks bulkier than the bund.

I'm waiting for some additional strap options with matching black hardware to arrive. In the mean time, I'm using a StrapHabit black FKM rubber strap. I think it works and fits well with the watch.
