Timex Marlin Chrono. Best Looking Under $200?
I think this Timex is the best looking watch in my collection. I can't believe I got this piece for well under $200.
Everything about this watch from a esthetics standpoint is impeccable. The 3, 9, 12 mirroring the 3 subdials is symmetrical bliss.
This is my first "Panda" dial watch. I'm sure it has to do with the maximized contrasting colors or whatever, but it just works.
The bracelet is also awesome! It's got solid end-links!... step it up Seiko. Not only are the end-links solid, they have built-in spring bars!

The brushed finishing is done very well and matches perfectly with the sunburst silver dial.
Ok, time for the cons... I... kinda wish the date wheel was gone or at least somewhere else. Other than that, for the price, I can't find any issues. It is quartz, but for many that's a plus.
In conclusion, I absolutely love this watch. For under $200 I can't think of a better looking chronograph. I got mine on Amazon for $134.

Good name for it. Very unique. Not alot of watches are using that vintage font type. I love it.

It is a very handsome watch. I think Timex is really underrated brand. I’d certainly prefer one of these on my wrist than one of those Omega + Swatch abominations (sorry to anyone who likes the MoonSwatch, just not my cup of tea).

This is why the watch industry is so fruitful. There are pieces in all price brackets that are amazing.

I don’t know why Timex chose to put the chrono movement that has the useless 24hr hand. They should have put their chrono movement that has the quick set hour hand, a much more useful complication!

I bought it when it came out in Canada. I love the vintage feel, however on the wrist experience was different. The lugs bother me. I only wore it a couple of times. I will probably sell it in the near future 🙁.
