I'm starting to love my Tissot. ❤️

I just (3 days) purchased this Tissot Couturier Auto and it really didn't give me butterflies at first. But switching the strap and seeing it on my wrist, I'm starting to fall in love with it.

I posted my reservations about it yesterday and got a lot of great feedback from the community. I really appreciate this Watch Crunch fam, and can't wait to learn and grow on this exciting journey. This is isnt a race, it's a beautiful hike to be enjoyed for it's exploration and site seeing.

I think that's a lot nicer looking than my Hamilton "Cooper". What is its size?

Very nice! Love the symmetry between top and bottom half of the dial! Very unique.

Congrats on your new watch

·

Great looking watch for sure. #Tissot

Welp, you sealed it for me. I’ve been thinking about taking my white dial Le Locle off of the bracelet and putting it on a blue leather strap. Beautiful combination on your watch and one sharp Tissot!

Case Size: 39.00 mm, Band Width: 22, Case Thickness: 10.80 mm. The case/lug width ratio is a bit off IMO. But just my 2 cents. I appreciate the nice words.

Thanks man. I got the strap on the Strapsco website. https://strapsco.com/product-category/leather-watch-bands/page/7/

Happy hunting friend.

Thanks! Was yours on a bracelet? Was it hard to change?

It's odd that the "Cooper" at 42mm gets a 20mm bracelet, but the Tissot gets a 22mm bracelet at 39mm....

It was, and the bracelet is great. I just like swapping straps. It was quite difficult to remove as well. The spring bars had barely enough space between the bar and case to pry into. If you have a decent tool you should be fine. I did not. I bought mine on Amazon for $280 +tax.

I just spent an hour taking my bracelet off and I have tools. One side came off fine, the other the spring bar wouldn’t release. Oh well, it’s off now and I have two blue straps on the way! Thanks for your help!

Right! Thank you! I have it on a leather strap that tapers down to 20mm. Looks so much better IMO.

Honestly, I had to take it to a watch shop to get it removed. I then swapped the spring bars to more grab able ones. I can swap them freely now.

Same thing happened to me.. my missus got me a Tissot luxury powermatic 80 as my first watch for my birthday 2 years ago... I loved it in the pic but when I got it in the flesh, the bracelet didn't make the watch as appealing to me. As soon as I put it on a leather strap it totally changed it for me also... Sadly I don't wear it much these days because I have built up my collection in these past few years.

Wear it in good health mate.. the couturier was also my first choice

I have the same watch and had/have the same impression of the dial to lug ratio. This should be a 20MM lug, and/or a tapered bracelet. However I like the symmetry of the dial and the full date display.

I also have had same issues with spring bars and haven’t swapped bracelet out(in 6 months) due to this. I really liked the Hamilton below but couldn’t find one in stock for <$1000

I'm curious. Do you have the white or black dial Tissot Luxury?... and do you want to sell it? The Luxury was actually my 1st choice, but none were available with my budget. I know your misses bought it for you so I get if it's a no-go.

Hi Kevin... Unfortunately it is a no go for now. I have asked her a few times if I could sell it because I hardly wear it. But she got really upset for me even asking.. so I throw it on every now and then just to put a smile on her face, and because it's genuinely a nice watch.
