I saw this watch on Jody and Dave's channels and I had to have it. Most people I know wear an Apple watch so I would be lying if I didn't want someone to ask if I started wearing an Apple watch. It's a fun watch and the crux of it hinges on if you really want to trick your friends into thinking you have an apple watch for a second. It's a good watch but if the Apple watch wasn't the most worn thing on people's wrists, I don't think this would have the same value. That being said for me it's a lot of fun. Setting the day and date was a pain because it arrived on a Saturday and it was set to Sunday so you have to go all the way through the week manually with a small crown. Scrolling through six full days wasn't pleasant but I wasn't in a rush. And given that it's quartz you won't have to do this more than once, just don't cross the international date line with this one. Setting the date was reasonable and same with the moon phase. I automatically roll the crown forward or clockwise so I only have to worry about accidentally changing the moon phase rather than the date. It came on the folded link bracelet and I never want to see one again. I broke one of those cheap screwdrivers attempting to size it. It also does make me realize how much I enjoy a minute track but I was fully aware this wasn't for precise timing going in. Once you place this watch on a strap of your choice and set the day, date, and moon phase it is a treat to wear. For what it is, what I want, and for the $100 ish price it's a good watch. The steel case is a nice upgrade. I wouldn't have chosen polish but I see what they were going for. 20 mm lugs are what really make this watch. I can see it being a bit of a strap monster.
