SEIKO RECRAFT UFO LIMITED EDITION [SRPC13]

Have you ever purchased a watch just because it was priced unbelievably low, only to later realize it actually may be an absolute gem and hard to find piece nowadays? As of today, I have not seen a single one of these surface for the past 2 years ANYWHERE online, or in stores, I even looked in the Japanese market. I honestly didn't even like the watch, I just knew that an automatic Limited Edition SEIKO was absolutely worth the $150 asking price. However, with the right bands, and after giving it time to grow on me, now it's become part of my "starter team" watch box... no longer in the bench. 😂

I would love to hear/see similar finds you guys might have, please share.

That is definitely underpriced, I respect distinct designs a lot, they are getting more rare

I looked high and low for this same watch a couple of years ago. I wanted it new and boxed.

There was one in Tbilisi, Georgia, so I tried the phone numbers and emails without success.

Eventually I found a watch photographer in São Paulo, Brazil, who said he could get one for me. This version had a bilingual date disk - English and Portuguese - made for the Brazilian market.

Here it is.

Wow, it looks great on that mesh. I did not know they had a Portuguese variant. 😱 That is definitely quite unique. I'm even willing to bet there are less Portuguese pieces than even the Japanese variant. Seems like you really had to look and chase after this bad boy. Thanks for the share. 👍

It had its own reference number with a B tagged on for Brazil. Don’t know how many Seiko released there but it was nice to have. Have since moved it on! 🙂

As you can see I also have blue bands for it. And I even owned (no longer have it) a black more common, non limited edition version.
