Wow, is it wrong that I want the clock more than the car??? Lol

Anyways, what are your thoughts on this, as watch collectors/enthusiasts/lovers/users do you feel the price is justified (given the brand and complication)???

I can't even tell time on that thing and it seems utterly unsafe for a car. I also find it ugly. Besides, back when RR wasn't trying to be a pastiche of itself, they were modern.

I'm no fan of Tesla-esque glass cockpits, but they make more sense for timekeeping. Minor credit for using a tourbillion for proper fixed orientation, but this still makes me wonder if the car needs hand cranking to get it started.

Nah, it's perfectly normal for us abnormal watch nerds

I know, that's why I asked as "watch enthusiast..." What did people think about the price. Some will say it's astronomical and crazy expensive, others that have seen a Vacheron watch go for $260K-280K won't be surprised and might even think this price is a bargain. Just trying to get people's reaction/insights to the article.

"hand cranked" ... I'm a sucker for tourbillions and purple, so I think it's a beauty of a watch. (I'm clearly biased here)

There was some Doug Demuro video on whatever full-sized ~$400K Roller where he mentioned that whatever clock it had was a $12k option. Sadly he knew nothing more about it than that. That could be a reasonable price.
