I’m relatively new to the concept of wrist watch ‘collecting’—not to say I’ve never owned multiple wristwatches as I have had dozens of them over the past 40+ years—but few would be what others would consider a watch deemed ‘collectible.’ Most were gifts or minor purchases of mainly sentimental value. My most recent acquisition is the pictured Oris 80th Anniversary Big Crown Pointer Date model in green & bronze—a color combination I find extremely attractive. It has a retro-vibe I also find appealing in watches. I’m looking forward to learning more from other enthusiasts here.

Welcome! Bronze with green dial is one of my favorite combinations, nice watch!
Think of it more as "accumulating".
I have been accumulating for many years.
