Honesty and trust, are they important?

The design of the watch tries to move away from the conventional, from the everyday. Perhaps that made this project more risky.

The previous campaign was not what we expected, mainly due to differences and unforeseen fluctuations in exchange rates, the price of the watch rise much more than we had anticipated, therefore, this time we want to be very sure that the price for the watch will be correct.

The launch price will be $280 usd, which makes this watch, due to its quality and accessories, the watch with the most competitive price on the market.

We know that gaining trust is very difficult, and even more so in a market where the consumer, almost by definition, is knowledgeable and constantly compares between the available options, which makes it even more difficult for a nascent brand to achieve the support required in a campaign of funding.

Taking the above into account, I believe that one of the advantages of micro-brands is that they allow a personal and direct approach with the founder of the brand, which makes getting to know the product and the brand itself easier and therefore , partly settle the element of mistrust by supporting something new.

I believe that there is no better way to learn about a product than by talking to those who have designed and created it. For this reason, I want to invite you to get to know Justiniani, get to know the watch and ask any questions you consider necessary to get to know the brand and the product.

I hope you can take a moment to get to know the brand and interact with me, it will be a pleasure to read you.

Greetings!

Ignacio T. Justiniani

The watch pictured is very conventional and extremely everyday.

Nothing new there at all. It looks nice in a familiar way.Any details? Specs? Info other than a generic picture?

It's a jungle out there with many, many, many, options.

I don’t see any lugs, that’s a little unconventional. The rest of the design looks fairly reserved to me, albeit pleasant. I’d actually be interested to learn more about the case architecture.

One can find out a little more. It's based on an NH38 with a sapphire crystal, according to the website.

I'm not sure why it would be unconventional. The design pattern follows a familiar field watch design. It does look pleasing, though.

$280 for this watch would make it competitive with some very nice leather and case finishing.

The lugs are part of the case, which becomes apparent if you watch the video on the company's website, which makes me wonder if the springbars are curved. The watch seems to come with a leather travel case.

Hi how are you? Thanks for your comment. What you write is exactly my point. In order to get supoort, the watch most be "unconventional", so I feel that a classic design is almost impossible to get in the microbrand field from a new brand. If you look closely the design of our watch, there is no other watch with the same design in the market (please check our page to know all the info: https://justinianiwatches.com/odysseus/) I know the design is classic, nothing overloaded, I want a watch that you can wear every day, as you correctly point it out.

Hi, thanks for your comment. The watch will include 3 straps (2 additional straps one of leather an one of rubber with nylon), also, all watches will have a genuine leather travel case, so you can take your watch anywhere, here you can see the video of all that will be included with the watch: https://justinianiwatches.com/odysseus/

I'm happy to learn that your project is getting along. I like the compact design with the recessed lugs, what I like less is the overly polished case which clashes IMO with the painted dial and the lack of details about night visibility, aka lume.

Hi ayadai how are you?

Thanks for your comment. I agree with some of your points. I think, however, that my watch has nothing like the watches you share. I found that some people say that the watch is "conventional", but I can't find a single watch like in the market, and I bet you to do find one. The watch is not an aliexpress watch, the case of the watch was made from zero, custom made. For what I have learned of my odyssey, people are looking in micros more "crazy" designs that classical ones, so I think I should learn from that. Finally, you can search for the wath review on youtube, I wont share the link to the youtubers channel, because the last time I did something similar the banned my post. But there is a lot of images and videos of the watch, believe me (I know is hard becasue all what you said) when I tell you that the watch has an amazing quality. Regards!

I love the blue version! Really beautiful colour.

I also like the style of the case, but have concerns as to how it would wear on the wrist.

41mm diameter and 12.9mm thick is quite chunky, and even though the lug to lug will be compact, I worry it would wear like a hockey puck, given there is zero tapering at the edges.

...though I thoroughly accept I am nobody's target market with my tiny wrists 😁

Do you have any wrist shots to share?

It's really strange, but all I seem to focus on in that picture is the woman with the revolver. But yes, that dial is a nice shade of blue.

Hi Carskinner, how are you? All comments add up. I think that the polish case make it stand out on the wrist, but is a matter of taste I think. About the lack of details I want it to keep it clean and simple, nothing overloaded. Visibility (lume) is good, there is a review of it on youtube where you can see the lume. Regards!

Of course, in the photos you can see how it looks on the wrist. I most say the watch is very confortable to wear, because of the lugless design it doesn't look big on the wrist. The height it gives the watch a stand out look, you can see it in the images. What you think?
