Which ladies watch?
I went a bit mad buying potential presents for my partner online - and four came at once!
I am generous but not that generous! I think I’ll give her one and keep the others back / resell them..

Yeah I went Panthere. The size and even the fact it’s quartz.. I’d probably go for the santos for me (though a bit bigger one..)

My wife criticizes me for being watch obsessed, she might be right certainly astute. She has a brown thumb but loves living plants, suggested we check out a spring orchid show( I love plants also but hip to the true enthusiasts who might attend, they are not going to chat about collecting modern versus vintage watches)peace and harmony, we buy tickets! After a few gruelling hours I was allowed to rest with a bad cup of coffee in a rest area. There was a middle age woman seated at the next table just watching the mobs of orchid lovers hurry by, I tend to not people observe but I never ignore a watch, she was wearing a Cartier Santos Carree circa late 1970s, I would have wagered the 20 dollars that I always have in my wallet the gents watch belong to a male relation perhaps a spouse. She noticed that I noticed returned a small sad smile. There are worse conditions in life than to be watch obsessed! I voted Santos!!
