Which one to buy next?

Thiking about getting a Seiko 5 or a Orient Kanno, Seiko to have something elegant, or should I go for something more bold like the Orient?

Good morning! I like the look of the Orient Kanno. Now, here's the thing: Do you have a watch that resembles the Seiko (elegant) or the Orient (bold) in your collection already? If you do, go for the opposite look of that watch😎

"Bold" means "hard to wear frequently."

I have neither in my collection yet, or anything that resembles something similar.

Okay. I would then go for what your lifestyle is like. The Seiko has a simple, white dial that would go from the office to your best friend's wedding. The Orient has that "going Downtown to the pub/bar" feel. At least IMO. Do both costs the same price? Check if one watch is harder to find than the other. I have that problem sometimes so what I do is buy the watch that is harder to find first than the other and THEN, buy the one that is more available.

Definitely agree with this. The Kanno is a lot more rugged also than the Seiko, and could take a bit of a beating (although the crystal is only mineral on both). But there‘s also a massive size difference between these two, 38 mm vs. 44 mm. So it’s hard to give a recommendation without knowing what would suit you personally better.
