Date Adjustment?

Today is the 23rd, but I don't bother to set the date anymore because my eyesight is so bad.

  • Their the devil's toenails of the watch world, hate the things, how to spoil a lovely face stick a square box on it and make it either a totally different colour to the rest of the face or the same so you can't read it. There's a company from I think Switzerland, rolex or somethin like that, that puts a bubble on the glass to help you read the date, but that's even worse looks like a frog has gestated on your watch. As you can see I'm not a fan of dates, plus I've got watches I wear occasionally and just can't be bothered and like you my eyes are not what they were, but I know its there sitting somewhere between 6 n 3,staring at me,laughing at my plight(I have a king samurai ,sapphire glass sir, oh yes please, there you are and we've put a blob of frog spawn on it to make it look good,🤬)

Normally I'd admonish, but I absolve due to the horrific size and placement here.

Hail cyclops!

That watch is solar it shouldn't be off date if you set it once. I wear my glasses to set mines or just wear a watch with no date on it even better.

But i's not a perpetual calendar, so it will need to be adjusted every other month-end or so.

Anyway, I pull out the crown to conserve power when I'm not wearing it because the capacitor has already deteriorated and doesn't hold much charge anymore.

Its a nice looking watch and its a Seiko might be worth saving it.
