Octopod on my Ball Moonphase?

Anyone familiar with this system and have any thoughts on it - good or bad??

https://www.zuludiver.com/collections/octopod

Also, planning to use it on my Ball Moonphase - tell me why I shouldn't?? For reference the Ball didn't come on its original strap and I'm not a huge fan of the brown and grey leather ones it came with!!

I'd probably go with a black octopod strap but happy to hear any other colour suggestion that might work. Dial on the watch is silver if that helps!

I have seen videos of the strap system but have no experience with them. Now as for your watch, that is a looker.

Thank you kindly!

Have a few, some gifted by good friends, and now some gifted by my wife.

I like them. I prefer the non elastic ribbed variant to the elastic one. Mainly because with the way the system works it's possible to get a fantastic fit and I like the look of the ribbed single pass better.

I will say, I'd go with one or two colors, the system is kinda fiddly to set up and I find myself switching between colors/variants faaar less than a vanilla single pass.

I use the system I like the security of a nato but hate the bulk of tucking all the material into keepers. I got it on a non elastic strap because it matches the bezel on the watch it was for ,I’d imagine the elastic straps would be even more comfortable.Initial setup is a wee bit fiddly but that’s half the fun.

I just got the Octopod system before Christmas, it’s great from all aspects except one, it’s kind of a hassle changing them out with a watch or if you want to change straps. The ribbed non elastic is easier but still takes a little time. Super comfortable and I like the deployant clasp.

The clasps are kind of expensive, thankfully almost all my watches are 20mm. I’d have to buy another one if I want to use it for my one 22mm that I wear pretty often.

Yeah, I can see that type of strap working very nicely with your Ball. For sure. Thanks for introducing me to the brand, now I’m going exploring! 😃

I’m so looking forward to picking up a Ball watch next and this moonphase is EPIC! Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼

Buckle is a little expensive , but if you like changing straps like you change your socks - I know I do- the straps themselves. are nice and cheap.😄 Bougjt mine on sale, but not sure I'd pay full whack.

Ordered one with a 'new' customer code so got 10% off. I'm always bemused by the cost of certain things - I fancied an official rubber strap for my Breitling till I realised they wanted about £200 just for the clasp. This one is a veritable bargain in comparison 😂

Yep, higher-end brands seem to just name their own price with their replacement straps don't they🤔
