Watch Box: Multi-slot

Does anyone have recommendations on watch storage? Is there much difference in the type of watch boxes out there? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.

That’s interesting! Thank you for sharing with me. Have you had it very long?

I have this one, with half of my collection...

That I bought 2015 and I did order the other one a month ago, so I hope to get it later this month... Just before that did I buy a 6 slot box for 34 euro (the close up below) which I first thought was a very good price - but at that time did I not try to seek in every way and especially with a minimum of seek words, which mean that you don't miss any bargins - but have to scroll trough garbage for many hours...

Wow! That’s a beautiful collection you have! Was there a specific reason you needed a separate 6-slot box? Your insights are helpful to me. Thank you. I appreciate it!

I thought stupid enough, that it should be enough with an extra 6 slot box... Before I suddenly realize that I could use this kind of box to ALSO store the "every day watches" I change between - if i only / simply place those watches loose, meaning on top of the pillows or sometimes on some pieces of thinner foam, to keep them at the same level...

And if you look close on the 10 slot box, can you see that every watch in the top row, lay loose and on top of their pillows... Yes, even the one in the middle, that have a new 9 links ultra smooth bracelet, so it just look like it sit around the pillow...

This is the box I use. It is real wood, with a glass top. Very well made. I have a couple other boxes that were the same cost but not nearly as nice. I plan to replace them with this brand. $28 on amazon.

A bit late to the discussion, but I thought i'd jump in.

I bought this a few weeks ago: https://www.nivrel.com/nivrel-uhrenbox-6-uhren-braun_2558_3492

It's good enough, but certainly not the highest quality. One of the watch cushion sides seems to be coming unstuck. I'll try some glue in there to fix it. The clasp on the front is basic and cheap, and the "lock" is not worth using. Otherwise, no real complaints.

And i'll add to that actually, that I genuinely cannot see how these "luxury" brands can add enough value to what is a simple product to justify these extraordinarily high prices.

I can see a high quality item costing 100, but to be looking at 400+ is madness! (Example: https://www.wolf1834.com/axis-8pc-watch-box#93=8)
