One reason why I love this hobby- I’ve discovered a lot about what I really do like. I have a few really nice watches in the luxury tier such as Rolex and Tudor , however I constantly gravitate towards field and “tough” watches. They are easy to wear, no hassle , can take on anything, are not targets of robbers, and I just love the look. Don’t get me wrong I love my Rolex and Tudor but they actually compete for wrist time especially these last 2 years. So many watches , styles and choices. There is something for literally everyone ! It just goes to show that the price and “ prestige“ of a watch brand does not mean it wins the wrist time battle.

Great collection. it super satisfying when you find the category that really hits. How do you like that new vero chronograph? They so good
Great collection you have 👏 and I agree with your thoughts. There is very little, if any, correlation between what I paid for a watch and how much I enjoy wearing it.

Yes I love my Vero workhorse , great tough watch and I like the unique look
Yep, I’ve moved on to G-Schock watches; my AP and Rolexes watch boxes are covered by dust ^^

You Sir indeed have a manly collection!
I’m with you on this, I have a Rolex Sub and a Doxa Sub, I call them the big two. The next watch down in terms of monetary value is my beloved Alpinist Sarb017……….. then the fun starts, I have gravitated to only keeping about half a dozen or so interesting or fun pieces which I wear with as much pleasure as the big two. Military field or tool watches for maximum legibility due to failing eyesight. My two current favourites are Precista’s by Timefactors.
