Armitron LED watch!
For a while I've had an interest in the Bulova Computron LED-watch in black with red LED-lights. It's so Darth Vader-evil-looking 🙂 But for me the Bulova is too expensive for a retro LED-watch.
So I found the Armitron Griffy! Only around 50 USD in total from Amazon. I got it a few days ago and it's as Darth Vader-like as the Computron. But the cheap pressed road-link bracelet was not my taste, so I swapped it for a strap from a Casio F-91w - perfect and comfortable!
The lug width on the Armitron is only 16 mm and on the F-91w it's 18 mm, so I had to cut 1 mm from each side on the Casio strap. The strap attachment pins on the Armitron is too thick for the Casio straps, so I swapped for thinner ones from a childrens watch lying around the house.

Nice! Would be on my list were it not for wanting a Speedy in my lifetime.
For pics like that, use a tripod or a way to keep the phone in place, set the timer and then light the display with less time on the timer than the display shut off time.

Yes the strap is perfect (after the minor "surgery"). For those that do not know, the watch case is stainless steel, not resin as on most Casio digital watches.
Finally fist time I seen Armitron come out with a black version for sure for the price of these way better than the bulova unless will to pay the price for new one.
