Morning time check
3 recent repairs getting their daily check for time keeping. My acceptance is + - 1 or two minutes. Next step is a wrist wear for a few days. If all good they go up for sale or added to the collection.

Must be satisfying to work on… love the bottom one especially.
I want to start doing this. These Time watches look like a good place to start.
For 13 bucks you can get a 2813 chinese copy of the Miyota 8015 to practice on first. Better than risking a vintage Timex.

I love my 1976 Timex Marlin. I'd really like to open it up and have a look inside, but it's running at minus 60 secs a day and I'm too scared of doing anything to upset that.
I bought a second one to fiddle around inside. It was listed as spares or repairs, but when I got it, it was also running at minus 60 sec per day. It was too good to fiddle with. So I sold it.
Maybe one day, I'll find a crap Timex I won't mind dismantling 🙄
