I'm a freshman in watch collecting . Can anyone help me with some pointers with this hobby? I've always been a watch guy just never thought I would start a collection at age 42 .

Buy some watch tools as well, working on your watches will make the hobby more enjoyable.

I am 27 and have been seriously into watches for the past 4 years or so. I don't know what kind of budget you are on but really at the end of the day....Just buy watches that are fun and make you smile. The hobby will never get old if you continually keep that in mind.

Just be careful if you buy high end watches , their are a few people who will try and mug you for them, sad buy true

For right now my budget will stay between 100 to 500 till I could afford any of the high end watches . So far I only have three . 1. Technomarine uf6 . 2. Casio Kermit and 3. Casio Pepsi .

Find your style, get a budget that fits and is comfortable, play with strap/ bracelet options and have fun. Cos that's what it's about!!!

Or incredibly expensive due to paying a watchmaker to fix what you have made a mess of.
