Today I am proudly wearing my great grandfathers Smiths Deluxe from 1960. An extremely sentimental watch which I will treasure for ever, recently passed down to my by mu grandfather after his dad left it for him. It was issued to my great grandfather in 1960 after 25 years of service at a British steel works. I also own his army issued pocket watch from the world war 1... something he carried with him whilst flighting in the Somme on behalf of his country, Great Britain. Great man, great watch 🥲♥️
