Sea-Dweller 116600
This was always my favorite modern Rolex diver. I haven’t shared this with the group yet, because I had it in storage and had been traveling a lot. I bought this years ago, shortly before it was discontinued and before prices exploded in general. I’m not sure what they go for now, but I’m not selling it so I don’t care. Plenty of scratches on the bracelet, too. Never serviced.
The Sea-Dweller’s more purpose-forward design, no cyclops on the date, fully graduated bezel, and the fact that it’s less popular than Subs always appealed to me. This particular iteration was my favorite because it got all the modern Rolex features, sans the super case. Old proportions, modern built quality and ceramic bezel.I think it’s the only Rolex diver that got that particular treatment?
Nobody really liked this watch, and I think it had a three-year run, only.
This is a keeper for me.

I’m blind for details but I really like Rolex divers. I prefer a no date but the lack of cyclop makes the Sea-Dweller look special👍
