Tudor Black Bay GMT

Greetings Crunchers. Does anyone own this Tudor GMT...if so what are your musings on it? I am looking to pull the trigger on one. Thanks in advance. Stay Crunching as Max would say!

I just acquired one in November. It is pretty chunky as everyone says, but it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites and most worn in my collection!

I love mine 👍🏻

Understood that is part of my trepidation, my current daily is, Tudor Pelagos 39mm...which is about 11.7mm thick if my memory is correct.

I had the 42mm Black Pelagos (2nd generation with in house movement) well that one was fairly thick also.

I like this model. However I heard there was a date change issue with the earlier batches, but apparently it's now been fixed. I can't be sure but you might want to check.

I bought one of the early BBGMT that arrived with a flaw that my sa warned me about but I was convinced that Rolex Canada would eventually deal with the issue and they did. It is a chunky timepiece, not a negative feature for me but I rotate a lot of different watches, like the over all appearance, recommend it.

I got one as a wedding present off my wife in 2019. Mine was a victim to the date wheel issue mentioned above, but was naturally fixed for free in the Rolex service centre. No issues since (touch wood). I wear all sizes (explorer 1 36mm, seamaster 42mm etc). I found this a little chunky at first as others mentioned, and the original bracelet isn’t great for micro adjustments. I bought the new jubilee bracelet from my AD and it hugs to the wrist much better and is now getting a lot more wear time. I have the bb pro too, but it does not wear as chunky as the gmt.

Very good looking watch but it's too thick and it had no micro-adjustment. That's why I did not bought it and opted for rolex 16570.

Understood. I was looking at the 16710 (Rolex Pepsi).

I have also the tudor black bay chrono and honestly because of these two disadvantages I do not use it that much. Maybe safe more and get e.g. the explorer:)

Whoa @N0rthernwatch...hold the phone...the jubilee from the Burgundy fits the GMT?! How much did it retail for?!

OP -- I love mine. It was my 35th birthday gift to myself.

It is tight on the Jubilee.

I bought the BB Pro instead. Smaller, has a micro-adjustment on the bracelet.
