Certina DS Automatic Chronograph

I am using today one of my favorite analog watches, this watch is a excelent entry level chronograph, it has a controversial movement, the ETA C01.211, based on the famous and old Lemania 5100, what makes it so controversial is that it only has 15 jewels due to his escape wheel and pallet made in plastic(some Tissot have this caliber too), I got this one 3 years ago and is keeping -+3.5 seconds since I got it. I decided to have it because it is based on a movement for hard and reliable work, I love the brand and this design, the price helped a lot too :).

Very nice. I love Certina.

Beautiful watch!

Nice Certina!

The bad rap on the plastic is that it makes it "unserviceable" and that the watchmaker will toss the movement and replace it. Making for an expensive repair, if required.

I am a fan of Certina...and a fan of chronographs...nice choice.

Beautiful - Certina's now get more wrist time than Seiko's for me recently (dont wven know how many Seiko's I own), ❤️ the Certina DS Multi 8 is close to watch perfection for my daily needs (one of my few non wind up watches I own ironically).
