I got bit by the watch bug when I first saw Sean Connery look at his Rolex while watching a James Bond movie he was in (Goldfinger, I think). Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger wearing his "Arnie" watch in "Commando" and "Predator" helped rekindle it where I ended up buying my first dive watch, a Citizen Promaster quartz.
My interest increased during the COVID-19 outbreak and I have been in the hobby ever since.

I think the 38 looks better. If you have to or end up selling it, the 38 is more likely to sell quicker.
Seiko should do something to their movements so they don't result in thick cases. It's annoying that they haven't, in my view.
