Seiko 5

Hello, I bought my first Seiko 5 for my birthday and enjoying it.
I like the lumen and  how it runs, but I think it doesn´t run for 42 hrs.

Sometimes mine doesn't either. I don't know if the case shape is less conducive for the rotor?

You do have the benefit of being able to manually wind that movement with the crown

I do that every night

I had this problem when I first started, and found that I need to wind the watch for maximum power reserve as our movement is less day by day (especially during Covid lockdown)

So if you have done tht, maybe try to take this to Seiko and have them check it if it is any problem. There is no harm for customer to ask about what they bought right ?? 😁😁

By the way, such a cool watch you got there

I have the same watch. Power reserve seems to have extended the longer I have had it. It's a great watch.
